About

The company and the person who answers

Sovereign Initiatives is an initiative of Harvest Two Thousand Media. One desk, one named project manager, and a preference for saying what is not yet settled.

The company

Sovereign Initiatives is an initiative of Harvest Two Thousand Media, working from Hazina Towers in Nairobi.

Harvest Two Thousand Media’s discipline is communication — producing the documents and explanations that institutions have to stand behind in public. Sovereign Initiatives is where that discipline is applied to mandates rather than to messages: work with a defined objective, a defined end, and a written record at close.

The distinction matters for what can be expected. This is not a consultancy with a bench of associates, and it does not scale by adding people to an engagement. It is a single desk that takes on a limited number of mandates and finishes them.

Elkanah Osinde, Project Manager, Harvest Two Thousand Media.

Elkanah Osinde is the Project Manager for Sovereign Initiatives and the person enquiries reach.

He scopes each mandate, runs it, and writes its closing record. That sequence is the arrangement, not a description of a typical week — there is no point at which a mandate is passed to someone else, which is why only a small number run at once.

Reach him on WhatsApp or the office line. An enquiry that turns out not to be a mandate for this desk gets that answer quickly.
